Since moving to the Black Country in late January, I’ve attended two workshops organised by Business Link West Midlands and received two phone calls from the lovely Rita Booth, a Business Account Manager.
These have been wholly beneficial events - the workshops, both from learning and networking perspectives. The phone calls from morale-boosting and kick-up-the-backside points of view.
In my view, the West Midlands Business Link team are doing exactly what they set out to - that is provide direct support and resources for local businesses, whatever their size.
The emails are useful, targeted and informative, the events inclusive and free and the advice has been enthusiastic, thoughtful and relevant…all good stuff!
So, with that contact made, it’s off to see what the Black Country Chamber of Commerce have to offer…
